Bentley Mulsanne Key Celebrates Its Centenary
Bentley's custom coachbuilding division, Mulliner, has designed an exclusive key case to commemorate the brand's centennial. It is made of Dark Stained Burr Walnut with Piano Black Veneer and includes an eagle-like "B" paperweight, keys, and an album of never-before-seen 1930s 8 Litre images.

Design

Bentley has introduced a special specification for cars manufactured after the year 2019 in order to celebrate its centennial. This is called the Centenary Specification. Function
The Bentley Mulsanne Key features two buttons: one that opens the trunk, and another that is used to start the vehicle. It also has a button to activate the parking break. There is a knob to fold and unfold the mirrors while parking in tight spaces. This feature helps you get into and out of your vehicle.
Each key takes two days to make. The key is cut by hand, shaped by hand, stitched, sealed, and then polished to give a superior result. It is sturdy compact and fits the Bentley key perfectly. Its design is similar to the Volkswagen Phaeton large car's key, but it feels much heavier and has a more luxurious feel.
Secure-A-Key is also available to help stop keyless entry theft. This device is inserted inside the remote control key fob and stops it after a couple of minutes of inactivity. This prevents thieves from transmitting the key's frequency to other devices that can unlock and start the vehicle.
Bentley's distinctive design reflects company's values of exquisite craftsmanship, engineering expertise, and modern technology. Personalisation
Bentley's bespoke division, Mulliner, allows customers to design their own vehicle. The guests sit at a collection of images, referred to "mood stations" and pick a set of photos ranging from scenic views to sporting events that are inspiring to them. After each selection is made, a pattern is created that reveals the design and color preferences for the custom Bentley.
The guests receive the keys in a case designed by hand that houses the R.F.I.D. enabled key cards. Keys can also be outfitted with Bentley Muliner Personalised Welcome Lamps which light the door's opening path with the owner's name and/or emblem when they approach the vehicle.
